This is a reference, not a booking service. It tells you which buildings we hold, who runs them and what is published about them — and it is straight with you about how few that currently is.

What makes this search different

You are not housing a person, you are housing a unit. Eight or twenty people who arrive on the same day, leave on the same day, and need to be in the same building or within a short drive of each other. Serviced apartments are let one at a time, and almost nobody publishes how many units a building has — so the question you need answered first is the one least often written down.

The location is not a preference. A shoot or a site sits where it sits, so the search is a radius around a fixed point, and it is usually a small one. That is exactly the search a nightly booking site is worst at: it will happily offer you somewhere pleasant an hour away.

And the budget was agreed before you started looking. A per-head accommodation line is set in advance and does not move, which makes a published rate you can check worth more than a quote that arrives after you have committed to the dates.

What this site does

  • One page per building. Its name and address, the unit types in it, what is included, and any rate the operator publishes — shown for the period they published it for.
  • Every fact carries its source and the date we read it. Where a unit count is published we show it and say where it came from. Where it is not, the page says so rather than leaving you to guess.
  • A direct link to the operator's own website. No booking fee, no commission, no affiliate tag. You deal with them, and they never pay us for the introduction.
  • Order is by how complete and how recently checked a page is. Position is never for sale, so nothing here appears because somebody paid for it.

What it does not do

  • We cannot put a group on one contract or one invoice. We take no bookings and hold no availability, so we cannot tell you whether a building has eight units free in March, or arrange for it. That is between you and the operator, and it is the honest answer to the first thing most people ask us.
  • We do not quote prices, we do not source to a budget, and we never convert a nightly or weekly rate into a monthly one. Where an operator publishes no monthly figure, ours stays empty rather than estimated.
  • We are not an agency. We do not negotiate, do not hold a panel, and do not pass your details or your production's to anyone.
  • We do not claim to cover a city. What we publish is what we have checked, and it is listed below in full.

If we do not have it yet

Search anyway. When you look for a place we hold nothing in, that search is counted, and the counts are how we decide which buildings to add next. A search you make today is the reason somewhere appears here later.

Three things are recorded and no others: the month, the words searched for, and whether we had anything to show. No name, no address, no account, nothing that identifies you or your organisation, and no time more precise than the month. It is set out in full in the privacy notice.

Coverage changes as operators add their buildings, so it is worth looking again. And if there is something you cannot find, you can write to us. We will tell you whether we hold anything and point you at the operator if we do. We do not take bookings, we are not an agency, and we will not go looking on your behalf.
