Staying near one hospital, for as long as the treatment takes
This is a reference, not a booking service. It tells you which buildings we hold and who runs them, so you can go to them directly — and it is straight with you about how few that currently is.
What makes this search different
The address that matters is one building's. Not a city, not a district — a particular hospital, and often how far it is to walk from the front door on a bad day. That turns a search across London into a search around one point, and it is a small circle.
How long is rarely known at the start. A plan for three weeks becomes three months, or ends early. So what is worth knowing is whether somewhere can extend without the whole arrangement being renegotiated, and what it costs over a month rather than a night.
And it is usually not one person. A partner, a parent, someone who does the cooking — which changes what enough space means, and makes a kitchen matter more than it would on any other kind of stay.
What this site does
- One page per building. Its name and address, the unit types in it, what is included, and any rate the operator publishes — shown for the period they published it for.
- Every fact carries its source and the date we read it. Where we do not know something, the page says so rather than leaving a blank you have to interpret. If we cannot show a fact is right, we take it down.
- A direct link to the operator's own website. No booking fee, no commission, no affiliate tag. You deal with them, and they never pay us for the introduction.
What it does not do
- We do not check accessibility, and you must not rely on this site for it. Accessibility is not something we collect as a fact. Where an operator has published something like “lift” or “wheelchair friendly” on their own website, you may see it repeated on their page with the date we read it — but that is their claim, not our finding. We have not measured a doorway, visited a building or confirmed anything. If someone needs step-free access, an adapted bathroom or a ground-floor unit, ask the operator and get the answer from them.
- We cannot tell you how far a building is from your hospital. We hold an address, not a distance to anywhere in particular. Check the address against the hospital yourself on a map.
- We take no bookings and hold no availability. We cannot tell you whether somewhere has space, or reserve it. Only the operator can.
- We do not quote prices, and we never convert a nightly or weekly rate into a monthly one. Where an operator publishes no monthly figure, ours stays empty rather than estimated.
- We are not an agency. We do not act between you and an operator, do not negotiate, and do not pass your details to anyone.

For most hospitals that will not be enough yet, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. If you search somewhere we hold nothing, the site says so plainly rather than offering you a building in the wrong place — which, when you are trying to be near one address, would waste your time.

If we do not have it yet
Search anyway. When you look for a place we hold nothing in, that search is counted, and the counts are how we decide which buildings to add next. A search you make today is the reason somewhere appears here later.
Three things are recorded and no others: the month, the words searched for, and whether we had anything to show. No name, no address, no account, nothing that identifies you or your organisation, and no time more precise than the month. It is set out in full in the privacy notice.
Coverage changes as operators add their buildings, so it is worth looking again. And if there is something you cannot find, you can write to us. We will tell you whether we hold anything and point you at the operator if we do. We do not take bookings, we are not an agency, and we will not go looking on your behalf.
